30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 14

Today I am thankful for the ways that my church serves our community, and the opportunity to serve with my church.  I attend Crossroads Christian Church in Joliet.  In the past year, I have seen them continually support our community in a multitude of ways.

On February 10, 2017, Crossroads is hosting Night to Shine, which will provide an unforgettable prom night experience centered on God's love for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. This event is a worldwide movement changing Valentine's Day weekend from simply a celebration of love, to a celebration of God's love for people with special needs. I'm super excited to be volunteering at this event!
